Day 23 - DeGray River to Point Sampson

OMG - how are we going to get out of here? The rest stop is awash. Jeff guns Glen and we roar through the mud and slush and make it safely to the bitumen. Phew. The rain has eased but still some showers around. Short drive to Port Headland. Industry at its ultimate. Everywhere you look are white utes with orange flags, drivers in hiviz jackets and red, red dirt everywhere. Went to have a look at a tanker coming in. It came really close.

Travelled to the cute little town of Roebourne - the oldest on the north west coast. Then through Wickham to Point Sampson for the night. Found a lovely little caravan park of about 20 sites across the road from the beach. Jeff was in 7th heaven listening to the waves roll in all night.
